Casa da Andorinha, charm apt Porto Bolhão

We had a wonderful time in this apartment and we felt just like home! Great location, would definitely stay here again :) good communication with the owner made it a very smooth experience. Tip for people staying there in the winter months: bring the heater into the bedroom and close the doors, then it gets nice and warm also at night.

Location was good. The owner was thoughtful, left us a bottle of port and some snacks in the fridge. She also communicated regularly through whatsapp and answered all our questions. Gave us clear instructions plus picture of how to gain access to the apartment.

There were 3 of us, so a few extra bath towels would have been useful. I didn't like the lack of an elevator but I knew that when I booked. Carrying a couple of large suitcases to the 2nd floor was a little challenging.

The apartment has a great location and is very cozy. It was clean and had all the amenities. The best was the easy communication and attention to detail of Renata. We had a crib and a high chair for our baby, and we were surprised with some delicious pasteis de nata! As a family with a young baby, we felt very much at home.

This apartment was incredibly comfortable for us and great location just around the corner from the Chapel of Souls. We could go everywhere on foot which was great! The owners also sent us a great list of restaurant recommendations that were really helpful.

This is an apartment and you can hear people coming and going from the other apartments attached to the central stairwell. Unfortunately for us we woke up to a loud person leaving at 4am so the noise can be a little disruptive but it didn’t ruin our stay.

Amazing cosy, comfortable & well-equipped apartment, very close to Bolhao market and the metro. Renata had provided everything needed for a great stay in the apartment, and was really helpful with directions & recommendations for restaurants etc. We loved having the terrace for breakfast outside, and enjoyed the comforts indoors when the weather wasn't good enough for the terrace. Highly recommend for a visit to Porto!

Excellent location being near to one of the main shopping areas with a supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bars etc. and within about a twenty minute walk to the river, bridge and attractions. The apartment was clean and very well equipped. Very good communication with our host Renata.

We had a couple of problems, which were promptly dealt with by Renata.

The location is excellent. The apartment is very nice with a small balcony to sit outside a bit to cool down in the evening. There’s was plenty of room for the 3 of us.

The parkings nearby are often full and quite expensive (we paid over €40 for less than 2 days). The shower has mold on some of the grout and silicone.

Renata and her husband were fantastic hosts, the apartment has everything you will need and more and 2 mins walk from main shopping street filled with lovely little shops and cafes, another 2mins to the market . We used the metro ,again just round the corner. We will definitely return
