Domus 21 - Formosa

The people who were responsible for the apartment were really helpful. The house is architecturally very beautiful. Comfortable bed, good location.

First, the mouse. Each time you enter the house, you can just smell it. When I entered the apartment, it was also seen. Knowing that a mouse does not bring better health, it was unpleasant, so I spent a lot of time trying to be with opened windows. Some cupboards were not cleaned, the same was with some of the kitchen utensils. For three evenings in a row in the apartment in front of me, the dog was barking 3 evenings in the row, sometimes non-stop until 23-01 at night. And so on. I don’t like writing bad things, but when I read and saw pictures of such a beautiful place and there were only good reviews, I already got the expectations :) and got sad when I goy a chance to see a place and live there almost for the week.

Lovely character apartment , comfy beds, well furnished , host Mike was lovely and efficient communicator. Easy walk to historic area but it is uphill home. It was fine for us because we like walking !

The weather was quite cool for June so it wasn’t a major issue for us, but there is no air conditioning and the road outside has quite a bit of traffic so I think air con would be handy in the heat of summer

Good sized room .. convenient to town .. good facilities

Very comfortable bed , this is so important. Nice bed topper. The shower always seemed to have hot water which is good. Next to restaurants within 2 mins - 10 mins. Lots of options. 5 min away from mercado de bolhoa for tastey treats! Easy to get to town without TOO much noise. Communication with Mike was good.

There was a feeling of damp which with stone walls can happen, there is also evidence of this on one corner of the wall. It’s likely due to humidity and it seems the property is aware as they have bought a large dehumidifier for the hall. If you keep the window open transiently this will help. Likely if you use the AC will solve the issue, we did not need the AC.

We stayed in an apartment on one of the central streets of Porto, from where you can walk to the most famous sights of this city. it was very convenient. the house gives the impression of a typical Portuguese house, you plunge into the atmosphere of Porto and feel like a resident. The apartment has all the necessary equipment in the kitchen, toilet, bedding and a large refrigerator.

On a hot day it’s a little stuffy, air conditioning is advisable

Comfortable, clean and good facilities.

Nothing really although the road it’s on might be a bit noisy at times for some people. Not an issue for us.

The whole facility was like a park with excellent view. Very relaxing to stroll around.

Only bed was comfortable.

It was filthy!!! Black highly toxic mold in shower and on walls. Constant smell of urine . This place should be condemned. Very noisy, out of owners control though. No place to sit for a couple. Just one droopy chair. Kitchen is dark, difficult to make anything . Were left with 3 towels: small, medium and medium. My husband is a tall guy, had difficulty drying himself. Way overpriced, and not worth more than €30 MAX! Not sure who gave this place high rating. Bot???
