GuestReady - Freixo Island - Douro Views

Apartament jest położony pomiędzy mostem z ruchliwą drogą a niemalże zawieszoną nad nim estakadą pociągów/ bardzo głośno. Filmiki jak dojechać samochodem i dojść pieszo które otrzymałam dosłownie na chwile przed wyjazdem kiedy już nie mogłam odwołać rezerwacji powinny być załączone na samym początku przy rezerwacji - nie brałabym tego apartamentu w ogóle pod uwagę bo obie opcje dojazd/ dojście fatalne. Wybrałam apartament z kuchnią niestety na dzień dobry nie było jak zrobić nawet ciepłej herbaty ponieważ nie było dzbanka a płyta indukcyjna była zepsuta. Dzbanek dostarczono dopiero popołudniu na drugi dzień a indukcją nikt się nie interesował 😔 Balkon był tak brudny jakby co dopiero skończyła się tam impreza 😔 Zdjęcia apartamentu zrobione na otwarcie i nie wygląda obecnie tak samo 😔

The views and the bedroom up stairs

Access to the property was a real problem as the lock didn't work properly and it was not repaired during our stay, the last night we couldn't access the property and we were considering going to a hotel. We needed to contact the agency many times and take pictures of the door. Luckily, eventually, we managed to open the door. There were no towels for the second bedroom. Second bedroom was cold and had a lot condensation on the window. There was not an extra blanket. Towels were provided the following day but not the blanket. There was a dangerous leak on the recessed ceiling spotlight, we needed to put a bucket on the floor as there was a lot of water coming through and call the agency again. All these problems created a lot frictions between us.

Nice flat with good views over the river. Close to station and shops. Just outside the tourist centre but gave good opportunities to explore a bit more off the beaten track and find local places of interest.

Slightly out of the centre, and quite close to railway tracks so could be a little nosey at night.

We really loved the location and style of the apartment.

Both showers are not draining which caused water to spill in the bathroom. The shower door upstairs does not close as the hinges are bad. There was a terrible smell of sewage coming from the shower, I guess the sewage issue is why the shower is not draining. As specified by our greeter we reached out to GuestReady on the booking-chat but no reply has been received.

The location is quite good. We knew the area already. It is walking distance to the centre of Porto and a few minutes from the Campanha station. The underground takes you directly to the airport. The views from the lounge were amazing, nice terrace we didn't use as it was winter. The design was very modern, the main bedroom on suite was upstairs. The second bedroom was a little bit small but has a separated nice bathroom with walking shower.
