Douro Golden Studio

I went slightly below the maximum for location, because this property is about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre. However, for me this is pretty good as there is a nice vibe living more in a neighbourhood. Also, the walk into town was pleasant enough. Critically, the added bonus was having free parking directly outside the property for my motorbike. The host was honest about this in the advert and even flagged it up in case I was concerned — however, the parking appeared perfectly secure and several other bikes used the same spaces to park. The host met me on arrival and she was extremely helpful with tips and recommendations... going well beyond what I would ordinarily expect.

we stayed for 4 nights and loved it, location was great, very quiet street and only a short walk to the busy areas of the city. room was comfortable and had everything we needed. and there is a brilliant Korean restaurant on the street.

Ani was the sweetest and most welcoming person! She told us about places we could visit and eat, and if there was anything we needed, she was happy to help. We would gladly come back again. 😊

There was nothing we didn’t like about the accommodation. It is well located in the center, and you can walk to most places.

The location was very close to the historical part of the city. Very close to the river and other turistic points. The studio is very clean and has all the utilities we needed.

The first night was a bit cold. But Ani was very helpful and brought us a heater. So problem solved.

Gostei muito do apartamento. Muito bem localizado, bem decorado, muito confortável e limpo. Tinhamos um vinho óptimo, logo quando chegamos vomo oferta. A Ani foi incrível, na nossa recepção, sempre muito simpática e disponível para nos dar sugestões e ajudar! Vamos por certo repetir a experiência!

Nuestra estancia en Douro Golden Studio, en Oporto, fue simplemente perfecta. Desde el primer momento quedamos encantadas con la amabilidad, hospitalidad y cercanía de Ani, la dueña, que nos recibió personalmente para entregarnos las llaves, un detalle que nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidas y que se agradece mucho frente a los alojamientos impersonales que usan cajetines. Ani nos explicó todo con detalle, nos ofreció vino de Oporto como cortesía y nos dio excelentes recomendaciones de restaurantes. El apartamento es tal como aparece en las fotos, moderno, acogedor, muy limpio y equipado con todo lujo de como café, té, azúcar, aceite, sal, gel de ducha y papel higiénico, así como la disponibilidad de paraguas en caso de lluvia, un detalle práctico que demuestra la atención a cada necesidad de los huéspedes. La cama es muy cómoda, dormimos genial. Baño muy cómodo con plato de ducha. Otro gran punto a favor es el aparcamiento en la calle y gratuito, algo que en Oporto es un auténtico lujo. Además, la ubicación estratégica permite entrar y salir de la ciudad sin los atascos del centro. La zona es tranquila, bien comunicada y perfecta para moverse por Oporto con facilidad, disfrutando de comodidad y acceso rápido a los principales puntos de interés. ¡¡Muchas gracias Ani por tu hospitalidad!!
