Pasteleira Relaxing Apartment

Large well equipped apartment in the perfect position for visiting Porto. If you have a car, it is essential that you use this venue as parking is 100% impossible in historic and commercial Porto areas. Park for free outside the door and use the exceptional public transport in and out of town, in particular the wonderful and historic tram system within a couple of hundred metres stroll.. Other options in the centre include Tuc Tucs, other novelty vehicles, cable cars, and even a helicopter! Highly recommend the river boat bridge tours.The river bank walk the same distance. There is a small supermarket with a decent enough restaurant on top about 150m. The apartment is 1st floor with a lift but not totally accessible as there are a few steps up before you can use.it.. The gift of local products was very nice. The owners are charming and multi lingual, and for our part, English is widely spoken throughout Porto, which is a magical experience that must be visited. We were very pleased with our choice with a couple of minor exceptions. 😀

The property has "Relaxing" in its title that is a bit ambiguous as the apartment block is residential housing, all the doors bang and clang and echo throughout, we think the neighbours above must hold 10 pin bowling competitions or similar in the evening! With constant strange noises through the floor! The apartment is also directly under the approach flight path for Porto airport. All of the above goes quiet during sleeping hours, so don't be put off but do not expect peace and quiet all the time. Although the apartment is very well equipped, some furnishings and decor could do with an update, but you still won't beat this place for convenience and value.

Location is good, nice comfy cozy feeling house. Mercado is nearby. Owners were responsive and attentive.
