My homey at Flores

The location was great. Could walk to everything. Train station Sao Bento & Metro a 3 minute walk. The two level penthouse was awesome, very well equipped and modern. It had two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. It was nice having a half bath on the first level. The laundry room was spacious. The view from the balcony was awesome. Being on the backside of the building was very quiet. Lots of restaurants, cafes and stores and supermarket right around the corner. This is the second time I have stayed here and & I love it. This is the only place I would stay at when visiting Porto.

There was nothing not to like.

The location was everything! The apartment itself was beautiful and so clean. Beds were comfy and the living room area was spacious!

Bright and spacious. Excellent facilities: multiple bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, tvs and AC in every room. Easy check-in and nicely decorated. Very clean. Responsive host who shared local recommendations.

No shelves in the showers. Would have preferred to have been told about tourist tax and administrative requirements at check-in rather than on the last day (to make sure people have cash etc). The lift was temperamental (stalled between floors) which was unnerving. When mentioned to the host they suggested this didn’t usually happen, but didn’t ask further about the incident/offer much reassurance - the lift also had multiple signs about what to do if broken, suggesting it may be a semi-regular issue.

Great location

Amazing location in the heart of the old town on the charming and lively street of Rua das Flores. The apartment was very quiet as it doesn´t face the street. Also didn´t hear anything from neighbouring apartments (saw reviews of other places where everything was heard through the walls). Very clean. The host was super quick to reply to any request and after 2 nights of not sleeping well due to the pillows being too big and hard she actually went and bought new soft pillows for us - very much appreciated! Rooms are snug but fine, we didn´t need more space.

The storage space for clothes could have been bigger, only a wall mounted rail in the bedrooms and a closet in the hallway. The closet had a vaccum cleaner and cleaning stuff and extra bedding taking up storage space. As we were only 2 people (1 in each room) the wall mounted rail was ok for us but if there had been 2 guests in each room it would have difficult to get in and out if bed with clothes hanging right by it.

Great location, cost house with great view

We loved the location. Easy walk to all the major sites and public transport.

There was no instruction booklet for appliances or the safe, so you had to message the owner each time. The apartment was so well equipped except for a washing machine - which was disappointing considering it was a self contained apartment. The pillows were too hard.
