nice sized room give excellent value close to the centre and river

This apartment is comes with a great view over the Douro river . And is it easy to walk around Porto from its location , but you have to walk up and down steap hills . ( Porto is hilly )

The balcony could use some uppgrate , old furniture .

So close to the conference centre I was attending for work. Amazing view

No shops nearby so plan ahead for breakfast

The flat was very clean. Excellent view, looking to river from balcony. It’s convenient place as we can go anywhere on foot but it’s quiet. There are nice restaurants near by and Fado place yet just off the noisy place.

It’s not major problems but the layout of the flat is a bit odd.

The view, the view, the view ....was beautiful and amazing. We loved sitting outside for meals and after meals just watching the world below. We appreciated the food items left there like coffee capsules, sugar, crema, oil, Salt and pepper and some jam and sauce in fridge. We also appreciated quick responses for Jorge when we texted him and from cleaning person/concierge.

We needed WIFI asap and struggled for about 30 minutes to get a network and password that was strong enough. Text from owner arrived at same time as us and it contained 3 network/passwords which confused us. Eventually we figured that the one on the Vodafone router worked best. Owner did respond quickly on this occasion and when water leaked into apartment below us and that person knocked on our door. No milk or bread or butter . Custard Tart would have been nice. Considering most guests fly into Porto and don't know where to buy food, we would have liked something more when we arrived. We also quickly discovered the broken window latch in the top loft window, no window latches to secure the windows open. The kitchen socket tripped the RCD several times but luckily my husband is an electrician so he knew what to do. The outside balcony table needs to be replaced or repaired as it is uneven and unstable. I am sure the owner will be aware of all all these faults.
