Porto River View Apartment

Location was great. Nice and easy into central Porto and also close to the festival we were attending. River views and easy access to beaches as well.

Great location. 5 minutes to river front and bus stops, easy access to Porto city by buses or tram, and good for beaches. Lovely apartment, nice furnishings and well equipped/stocked kitchen. Small balcony with river view. The Owner was really great, in contact several times before, and during stay to ensure all was OK, and she was really easy to deal with. Thank you.

The shower was just over a bath, rather than being a separate shower cubicle, but it wasn't really a problem and water was nice and hot. Could be noisy early mornings with planes landing, (we had the window open a bit) - didn't bother us, but might affect some people.

Great place to stay with a family and a dog just outside of Porto. It was super easy to get into Porto by Tram or bus and there is a wonderful restaurant overlooking the Duro River within easy walking distance. We arrived by car which we were able to park safely in their garage and then forget about it. Wonderful.

Nothing to dislike.

We were greeted by a wonderful, friendly lady. She gave us a good run down of the local shops and transport links. The neighbourhood was outside Porto which was very welcoming. It was peaceful & relaxing to return to after busy sightseeing etc. The view from the balcony is super, so nice to be able to sit & watch the world go by ( and see the Douro river)!! Lovely supermarket a short walk away (el corte ingles) and a smaller shop not far too. Trams & buses are constant & easy to use. We used ‘Bolt’ the taxi app. We usually paid as little as 4euros, never waited more than a few minutes. There are some nice eateries in walking distance that we enjoyed. Simple, reasonable & welcoming. The lift at the apartment( despite it only being on 1st floor) is very welcome with luggage & shopping. The lady who owns the apartment has been fantastic. Completely above & beyond any responsibility of hers. We cannot speak highly enough of her kind, genuine help. Amazing. Thank you 🙏🏻

I don’t believe anything could have been improved. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Good bus service (500) along the river into Porto centre took around 10/15 minutes and nice walk into Foz Do Douro, lovely park, beach and restaurants. Good selection of supermarkets quite nearby. Constant supply of hot water in the apartment and it was warm, hob and oven worked well.

Maintenance and upgrading in the apartment is needed e.g loose toilet seats, lights and toaster not working properly etc and decor a bit tired, sofa was uncomfortable.The area is a bit mixed, we were approached by beggars.
