Porto Duke's House

Very nicely furnished apartment, every detail was taken care of, very clean, in the center, including breakfast and a bottle of wine, that was a very nice surprise. Ana was very nice and had helpful tips. In addition, a parking space in an underground garage around the corner is included. The accommodation was great.

Location, daily fresh bread delivered, attention to detail. Owner spent a lot of time telling us about the area and where to visit.

The bathroom door had swelled from Previous water moisture so it didn’t close. Owner planning to fix it.

Comfortable and well thought out apartment with all amenities available. Host was extremely helpful and offered advice on what to do in Porto. Easy walking distance to centre with shops, bars, restaurants and tourist sites. Croissants delivered in the mornings for breakfast

Not really the owners fault but barking dogs from next door, couldn’t sit on the terrace. Parking is around the corner to the apartment and wasn’t easy to park up outside to unload as traffic was bad.

Everything was exquisite, starting with the cosy apartment, its central location in Porto and on top of everything the host, Ana who was always there to help, to provide tips and information, to make sure,however in very discreet manner, that nothing is missing. A unique experience that no traveler should miss.

If we could we would give this place an 11. Ana was incredibly kind and helpful. The whole place makes you feel welcome. The facilities are exceptional and she seems to have thought of everything you might need. The beds were ultra good, bit on the harder side but that's how we like our bed. The parking garage is just two minutes away by foot. The whole place was super clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Ana had stocked the refrigerator with nice stuff for the breakfasts and the local bakery would hang freshly baked bread on the door in the morning (still warm from the oven). It was even possible to switch from sweet croissants (which we liked, but not in de morning) to a more savory selection. If you like to lock yourself up (why would you in such a beautiful city) then the television has a huge selection of channels from all over the world. The location is great for heading into town or just across the bridge. We were with two smaller children and the place and the location was perfect for them as well. Ana gave us some suggestions for restaurants and they were spot on, affordable and delicious. We've stayed in around 100 places in the last 10 years and this one ranks in the top 5 for sure. Thanks Ana!! If we ever come back to Porto we'll stay with you again!

Ana is the best host so far. Her apartament is full of details (from kitchenware to bathroom first aid kit) that will turn your stay perfect. Very clean and practical, perfect location to main interest points in Porto. Nonetheless, Ana will give you great hints of the city.
