Sunny city center

The flat was beautiful and romantic; the location is simply great, in the middle of the historical city. We could find (a paid) parking easily close to the appartment.

There were renovations going on to the next door apartment, it was noisy, the entrance looked like a construction site.

Location is fantastic - just 20 m. from the 'walking street' and 2 min. from the big Szechinyi Ter. The room with a loft was great - lovely high ceilings, and such a good idea to put in a loft for sleeping; just made it all the more spacious. The host met us at the door, and had waited patiently while we found a place to park nearby. When she left, I followed her and was able to get a free place to park for overnight, as long as I got up and put some money in the meter by 7 a.m. But this was great because parking is at a premium in downtown Pecs! We didn't cook but the kitchen was well suppplied - even had some of those basics one needs but doesn't want to carry around with them all the time - like salt, sugar, tea, flour etc. We were only there for 1 night unfortunately, because it would have been a great place to base onesself for several days. It was spotless, so one could really relax.

Can't think of anything that could have been better except the parking but that is not the fault of the host. It is simply difficult to park in downtown Pecs. Perhaps a map that showed you a driving route would have been helpful. There are so many one way streets, and street repairs and construction that it is a bit difficult to find one's way there by car. Pedestrians will have no problems!

Absolutely fabulous apartment! It is beautiful and spacious, with everything you need to be self sustainable. It is right in the heart of Pećs, close to endless cafes and restaurants, and easy walking distance to all the tourist sights. Loved this apartment and would definitely stay again.
