Stylish Latvian Classic 1-Bedroom Apartment Near City Center, Parks & Public Transport Links

We stayed here as a family with a child. The apartment was very inconvenient: it is located far from all infrastructure. The hairdryer was broken, the shower was completely broken, there were no proper pillows, and not even basic glasses. The apartment is on the ground floor, so everyone can look directly into the windows, and it is very dark inside. The most unpleasant thing is that there are construction works in the building starting from 8 a.m., with constant noise and renovation sounds. The price absolutely does not match the quality of accommodation.

I have to admit that the appartment was nice and tidy. And it was clean.

The host is the worst host I ever had in my 54 years. First of all the room says that has free parking. When a room has free parking, you park where you are told and it's free. Well, that's not the case, free parking is a lie. I parked where the host indicated and I got a ticket. The host's responce was "that's how it goes, when you don't pay, you get tickets". IN A ROOM WITH FREE PARKING! Also the room had secret charges. It is clearly stated in booking.com terms that all charges should be stated in advance. Well, again thst is not the case. 6 euros tax is not included and we were charged for it on top of the price. Finally we got wrong code for the entrance, something was missing. I tried to contact the host there was no responce. I found out by myself what should I do after almost half an hour and send a message to host not to worry after we settled more than 1n hour later. He responded 15 hours later. 11am next day. I find that totally unacceptable. I could be that stupid and not figure out. We would sleep at the road? OK, the key boxes are convenient but that doesn;t mean the host doesn't care at all. For me the most important in a vacation is that there are no nasty things who spoil the trip. And that room was the contrary.

+ Cozy appartment, comfortable bed. + Enough space for your things and clothes. + Kitchen with everything for cooking. + Coffee machine. - It's 1st floor appartment next to entrance doors and there is no day curtains in the kitchen (only blinds). Everyone can see you from outside. - Frying pan and pot are quite old. - You can hear uppstair neighbors, during weekends they have loud parties.

very good location, modern interior, comfortable, neighbors are not noisy. we had a very good rest, very nice host, easy instructions for check-in, very warm, heated floor in the bathroom

these are not minuses, rather comments, the sofa needs to be mechanism fixed(as I understand it this problem has been around for a long time) and there are not enough dishes for the family, but otherwise everything is 👍

Great placement for what i was visiting

The flat was lovely and spacious. Clean and equipped with everything you would need for the stay. We stayed for 21 nights and had no issues whatsoever.

Could of done with an oven, but I wouldn’t let anyone be put off by not having one as the cooker and microwave did for the time we were there.
