Only thing was mattress bit hard!!

We chose this booking because of its great location to the city center and because we drove to Siena and wanted to make sure we had a place to park the rental car, and it did not disappoint. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking including the basics and some gifts from the host. Beds were comfy.

The kitchen and dining area is small, so it is bit cramped for four adults. There is a small sitting area but not a living room.

Best place in Siena! Place was very clean and there was everything we need and much more. Apartment is located on the floor of the house right next to the historic centre. Parking place is available. The lady of the house is very kind, we said everything through a translator. This was the best place in Siena we could find! :)

This location is ideal for exploring Siena, one short steep hill and you’re at the St. Katerina escalators which pop you out close to the Duomo and Campo and it is right on the edge of the no car zone. There is a parking spot on the street next to the house! It’s quiet at night, which may not be true up in town. The little garden was shaded most of the day (late September) and we enjoyed sitting there. There is a little coffee shop/snack bar across the street although it may not be open on weekends. The bed was good, queen size. The apt is modern; plugs require a three prong adapter. Our host was very friendly and we managed despite her speaking no English and us no Italian. There is a nespresso machine with pods, tea bags, and some delicious butter cookies.

Like many apts in Europe, the rooms are small and the furnishings are large (albeit beautiful). No closets. The AC split unit is in the hall so you have to leave the BR doors open or be hot. One flight of marble stairs, a corner shower, and small BRs means this could be difficult for a person with mobility issues. But I doubt there is a better value in the area.

The willingness to accommodate and availability when have questions. Closeness to the elevators to historic city central. Lovely helpful people through out
