Casa 8 Caños Ronda

It was near to the old town (5 minutes from the apartment) and in a calm environment. The rooms were clean and cosy. The host was nice, it was easy to communicate with him (via WhatsApp).

Location close to historical city center. It is a typical, stylish old building, allowing you to feel like the locals live. Possibility to park a car at the street at the door.

We were in November and apartment was cold, the AC heating was malfunctioning. There was only one electric heater provided, not enough to heat all rooms. No electric or traditional kettle to boil a water, the owner responded "you can use microwave or a pot". There was just a one glass for wine and the owner's response was "maybe some guests have broken..." No new dishwashing sponges. Basically it seems the owner does not supervise the property in detail. We were there 2 nights, so I would expect that the reported shortfalls would be remedied overnight, but they were not. There is very little natural light in rooms. The apartment for sure is better for hot summer rather than for autumn.

Prime spot location in the old city center of Ronda, very close to the eight fountains and one of the roman bridges. Apartment was in a typical Andalucian house, with a shared inner long hallway and entrances to houses. This particular apartment had a marvelous view on the surrounding environments, and a hidden away terrace where we could all gather and have breakfast and lunch. A definite recommend, hope to return.
