The location is very good. Many of the best sights of Old Riga are nearby, great public transport connections and plenty of cafés and pubs around. The apartment has all amenities you might need.

The door lock seems to bit a bit tricky at times and might need to be changed at some point. Getting to the apartment is through a gate and a somewhat dodgy courtyard which can be a bit creepy later in the night. The location and apartment are nice but the stairs leeding to the second floor are narrow and spiral, so carrying luggage up and down is awful and I ended up dropping my suitcase down the stairs when I left 🙁
