Jauna Teika Cosy 1bdr apartment, self check-in

I can honestly say, this is best apparatment building in Latvia!! Absolutely loved!! Stayed in thousands places in the years, this is absolutely best place! Not that it was something like super rich.. But the combination, feeling like home, job wise professional, People around just good people, great parking. The apartment inside is just great, really great feeling and TV is just amazing for movie night! Recommend!! Host is just great person who helps and are nice to max limits! And for tourists, don't worry about public transport its all there!!

Pretty much everything. Every time I thought of something (wonder if there's tea here to go with the kettle or I wonder if there is detergent to use with the washer) it was there. Charging cords, extension cords, adapter plugs, shower gel and shampoo, you name it, plus, having a washer in the apartment means you don't have a maid coming into your room when you are out, replacing towels and such. Just wash them yourself. I loved the electronic key. No fumbling with standard metal door keys that you aren't sure which pocket you put it in, or electronic key cards that never seem to stay programmed at hotels. One simple app. Locked or unlocked. Done. My summation, uneventful, which in my book, is the highest praise. Your sleeping quarters should not be an exercise in frustration and struggle and this place most certainly isn't those things. Tram stop about half a block away, plenty of shopping (Elkor Plaza, mini-Maxima and other shops along the street by the space monkey - what is that statue about?, large mall a 7-euro taxi ride away...), a good selection of food delivery through Wolt and Bolt.

The only things that were even slightly a challenge is, first there is a washer but no dryer, so it is a little bit of a struggle if you want to wash bed sheets to find a place to hang them inside (I was there in winter, so the balcony was not an option). Secondly, and very minor, the bed was a bit thin (like maybe double the thickness of a futon), so probably wonderful if you are a firm bed person, but I have a bad back and have a tempur-pedic at home, so while it was still comfortable, not quite as comfortable as home, but again, it is not like I woke up stiff as a board or anything, so a very minor complaint. Lastly, there was Netflix, but no antenna or way to get local channels, not that I speak Latvian, but it would have been nice to have the weather report on while having breakfast, but again, an extremely minor complaint.

Everything was perfect. It could not have been better.

It's felt like home from home. Couldn't find any faults, apartment has everything what you need and more. Warm, bright,modern and comfortable. Extra points for very big TV! Would definitely stay again.

Very good location, clean and cozy.

Bathroom shower construction made us clean whole room from flooding and get worried about it every time we go to take a shower. Also TV remote haven't worked, so we couldn't use it. But I believe owner knows and will fix the problems
