Marijas City Center Apartment

Very good modern apartment in great location in Riga. Just 8 min away on foot from the train station so it is a perfect location for doing daytrips. It is around 20 min walk to the Old Town. It has everything you need including washing machine. I did not cook in the apartment. Bed was super comfortable and good internet. The doors work with codes

Excellent flat in prime location. Very comfy and cozy. With everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. Easy check in & out. Great communication from host. Highly recommended.

Apparently the owner has several apartments and I was thinking I was booking the apartment with grey kitchen which is shown first in the photos while it turned out I book another place (with white kitchen). This apartment has no oven and although we booked it for the family of four, there were only 2 chairs. Also, the sofa was quite small for 2 persons to sleep.

The hosts were responsive when we requested a toaster, kitchen tea towels, a non-slip mat for the bathroom and extra bathroom towels. The apartment was very close to public transport and walking distance to the old town. The washing machine worked well, and a grocery store was a very short walk from the apartment.

Pillows on the bed were very small and lumpy and the bathroom towels were quite thin and therefore not very absorbent.

Easy to find, no need to meet a host in person. Quiet place, two separate bathrooms.

No private car parking.
