The location was excellent, and the apartment was on the 11th floor with a beautiful view. This helps prevent insects from entering the apartment or balcony, especially since the balcony seems to be partially open as some glass panels were out of use. The apartment looked modern and appeared clean. It had nice interior design, good lighting, and the bed was very comfortable. The price was very reasonable for one night, and the apartment had all the necessary utensils and appliances for dining. Communication was easy with the host. She was very nice and handled problems well.

The walls are extremely thin, as we could clearly hear people moving in the stairwell. In addition, the upstairs neighbor's footsteps, child’s laughter, and running were very audible—even between 10 and 11 PM, when quiet hours should have already started. We could also hear the neighbor’s toilet from the next apartment very clearly. I’ve never encountered such thin walls anywhere else. Luckily, we don’t have this kind of issue in my home country—it would be awful. I couldn’t sleep well because of the noise through the walls. Also, the apartment’s fridge made a terrible noise the whole time it was on. I could only fall asleep out of exhaustion around 2 AM. We were asked to take out the trash and wash the dishes upon departure. Washing the dishes is understandable, but taking out the trash? In my opinion, this should be the responsibility of the host or the cleaner. Maybe this is standard practice when renting apartments like this, but I’ve always stayed in hotels, where you don’t have to clean up yourself—especially when you're in a hurry to drive elsewhere. As far as I know, the apartment is cleaned after checkout anyway, so wouldn’t the cleaner be able to take out the trash at the same time? Speaking of driving, the listing mentioned free parking outside the building area. However, there were signs saying that street parking was allowed only with a guest permit from Metropolia Apartments. This was a surprise to the host. The building's receptionist didn’t speak any English, which made communication very difficult. Nothing could be done about the situation, and the receptionist wasn’t aware of any guest permit requirements. It seemed like the host was also unaware of this change, which made us wonder how well they manage the apartment. We had to park at least 700 meters away, and we were carrying heavy suitcases. The TV was badly frozen and the remote didn’t work at all.
