Apartment Anamarija-Bačvice

Location was central to the beach (3 minutes), the small supermarket (3 minutes) and close to the coastal town and bars (5 minutes). Two sets of keys meant family could split up if we wanted. Aircon was very efficient but to cool the bedrooms you had to turn the temperature very cold and leave the kitchen and bedroom doors open. Good wifi, Netflix, good shower (even provided shower gel). Fridge was large and very cold. Small dishwasher and washing machine was perfect for a short stay. Plenty of towels. Comfy beds. Microwave. Spacious.

If you are not very fit then the stairs to the apartment could be a challenge (we were fine). I’m being really picky about the next one because that’s what these reviews are about. The pillows were a little thick for our family. Ridiculous I know but thought I mention it. I was fine with it.

The host coukd not have been nicer. He was there to welcome us and kept in touch throughout even though he was in Germany for the euros. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. Excellent apartment with plenty of space. The location was excellent with short walk in one direction to beach and short walk in other direction to old town. If you want the best of Split stay here. I would return in an instant. Thanks for a great stay

Nothing. But nite on third floor and there are stairs but split is full of steps anyway so no rsal problem

Perfectly located near the beach but only 5 minutes from the old town. The apartment was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The host was very helpful providing good tips and advice

Location and cleanliness

The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, and the kitchen and bathroom were also clean and modern. Zlatko our host was there to greet us when we arrived, gave us a tour of the apartment and some information about the area. There is a cafe across the road, a cafe bar two doors away, a grocery store at the end of the street, it’s only a 8 min walk from the bus station and Bacvice beach, and some incredible restaurants only a 5 min walk away. I’ve travelled to and lived in Split for the past few years and this has been my favourite location to stay so far, we will definitely be using this amazing apartment as our base for future visits.

The mattresses were a bit too firm for my mother however this is a personal preference.

Location was fantastic, close to everything. Hosts were helpful and provided us with useful information about the city and places to eat.

I have stayed in many booking.com apartments over the years, but I can honestly say I have never met more accommodating, kind and thoughtful hosts as Zlatko and his wife. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way to help you have a truly wonderful experience in the beautiful city of Split. The apartment is great and is in a lovely building, 2 minutes from the beach and a 5 minute stroll to the centre of Split and all the delights it has to offer. My family and I had a really special few days, and Zlatko and his wife were a huge part of that. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you both again sometime very soon.
