Riga Center Old Town Apartment

This is by far the best apartment that we ever rented for a holiday, and we do travel a lot. The apartment is excellent and exceeded expectations in all areas. It is large, clean, located in the center of Riga, fully equipped with anything one may require during the stay - from spices, different types of tea and coffee, to shampooes and body lotions. Anything that may come to mind - has already been provided by the owners. The coffee machine is top of the range ( thinking of buying one like in the apartment for home now). The owners are very accommodating, we were allowed to check in early and to keep the apartment till the evening on the day of departure. And there is a functional fireplace as well. Overall, it is an amazing apartment, I am happy I have rented it.

One of the beds was an uncomfortable fold out sofa bed. This property is meant for a couple rather than a family.

The apppartment is located in the center, very close to most of the sightseeings. There is not need of public transport, bit if needed the bus/tram stops are on 1-3 minutes walking. It is equiped with everything needed and even more. Super clean and tidy! There is also a tiny and quite back yard. The hosts are very nice and helpful people. We had a wonderful staying there!

I liked the location and the apartment.

There was no closet in one bedroom but the closet in the other bedroom is large. There is a bar with music that didn't let you sleep. It closed at 8 in the morning instead of complying with the schedule.

Spacious apartment. Good location for sightseeing however above an all night club so have to mark it down for this in terms of location. It’s a shame as the apartment is well equipped, clean and spacious although the sofa bed is not the most comfortable.

We didn’t stay our third night - noise from club below was unbearable on our second night - the building was vibrating with the noise until after 5am. No communication from host before arrival to explain where to meet - location shown in directions is not correct but host did answer his phone promptly and came to meet us. Communal stair lighting not well maintained - you will need a torch to go up most of the stairs and find the keyhole in the door! With no aircon this apartment gets too warm especially when you can’t open the windows due to the noise.

It was so spacious and comfortable. Well equipped, the host met us and was very kind, fantastically central, so easy to get to all the sights but was a bit noisy at night with the bars but a small price to pay for such a brilliant location. My 85 year old father managed the stairs although slowly. The shower was excellent too.

Could get a bit warm in the summer maybe.
