In the heart of old Riga. We had top floor room turned into courtyard (quiet enough). Close to many restaurants and tourist attractions.

No airconditioning.

Very tastefully furnished and well thought-out. Extremely central for old town.

Attic room so unsurprisingly very warm in the summer: we kept the blinds down pretty much constantly.

The apartment is small but beautifully decorated. There is a small but adequate kitchen and a washing machine, so you could stay for a week or more.

The only negative is that the apartment we stayed in was on the third floor, with 63 steps and no elevator. This was difficult for my elderly husband who has copd and uses a cane.

Well-designed and equipped, quiet attic flat in the Old Town (great location), clean and comfortable. I liked staying there, and I recommend it to everyone.

Generally quiet, as long as in the flat through the courtyard do not stay inconsiderate young tourists playing loud music and shouting until the morning. But it might happen everywhere.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for 5 nights as a couple. The location is perfect, all the bars and restaurants are on your doorstep and the main bus and train station just 10min walk away. Lovely historical apartment with lots of carefully selected and renovated antiques which gave it a wonderful character. The bed was very comfy too. Would definitely stay here again.

When we stayed the weather was very hot outside and it being an apartment on the top floor, it did get quite stuffy at night even with windows wide open, so it could benefit from air con when the weather is hot. The building is lovely and historic but if you have issues with mobility this wouldn't be accessible as it's up three flights of stairs.

Couldn't fault the apartment or the location.
