Noise - not sound proof and thus had really bad sleep both nights.

Loved the location, because and despite the heavily trafficked street it was located on. If it got too noisy, early in the morning or late at night, we'd close the window we were not disturbed. Otherwise we very much enjoyed sitting in the large window and watching the world go by. The traffic was mostly just legions of people walking up to the Compo, a fantastic and magical place. The kitchen was very clean and easy to use. We mostly shopped at the nearby grocery store and cooked delicious fresh pasta with locally made sauces, very delicious and economical. Our communication with the owner on the day of our arrival was easy and we were met at the apartment as arranged. We spent a week there, feeling very at home in the amazing ancient place that is Sienna.

Beautiful spot right in the centre of Siena! So easy to get around and a beautiful little apartment!

We stayed during the time of a heatwave so it was very hot, but that is not the owners fault and a fan was supplied to take the edge off slightly.

Location was excellent. Property has all that is required to have an enjoyable stay.

We arrived on time to find that no one was there to let us in. We called and were told the place hadn’t been cleaned yet. We had been traveling for 22 hours by this point and just wanted a shower and a bed. We waited on the street with our luggage for a half hour. The owner showed up, but rather than inviting us in or at least letting us put our luggage in the apartment, she left us standing there for another hour and a half while she cleaned. We had to guard our luggage from some teenagers who stayed near us watching for nearly and hour to see if they could grab something. We finally got into the place and were promised a full refund. The refund never came. I gave it 90 days and repeatedly requested an update from Booking and sent messages to the owners of the flat. I have never given a bad review to a place, but this experience was so horrible.
