O Fogón - Casa Ferrador (Ribeira Sacra)

Great small complex in a rural setting. The owner was lovely and very helpful. Never been to this area of Spain before but now a complete convert. Did river Cruse to see the vineyards, quad biking - best outing of the holiday (company just outside Sober lovely people), horse riding and the usual look at a castle! Major regional town 15 mins away for tapas and supermarkets. Air con in apartment was great and it coped well with the heat. Think the complex is only a couple of years old and everything is clean and works well - great base camp to explore from. And as it’s on a hill you get the cooling breeze especially up by the pool.

No bar to walk to but there is one in sober only 7mins away by car. This isn’t an area that gets many British tourists so Google translate is your freind but cannot stress how friendly people where.
