Apartment Budapeshta

-Fantastic location. Lots of nearby shops and restaurants. Very close to city center -Mostly great facilities -Good AC -Cable Tv works, even with English audio!

-Poor (actually non-existent) communication with host. They never replied to messages. There was a very nice man who met me when I checked in. -The lock to the building was broken so that anyone off the street could enter and take the elevator to the apartment on the 6th floor. It seemed to be a safe neighborhood but I did not like it. When I messaged the host, there was no reply. -Poor internet, frequently died. When I messaged the host, there was no reply. -Hot water runs out very quickly

Perfect location for visiting everywhere on foot, and near the metro for getting further afield. The bed was very comfortable. It suited us very well.

The bathroom was tiny and it was almost impossible to brush your teeth over the tiny basin. I thought the charge for a late check in (9pm) was a lot.

Very good location. Useful to have a washing machine. Close to great cafe for breakfast.

Communication with the host was difficult; wanted to be phoned & v little English. Kitchen equipment barely adequate. Hot water ran out & host blamed us for switching it off (it was never switched on!). The shower drain was blocked with hair etc.

The apartment is in the perfect location for exploring Sofia. It is a short walk to all main sightseeing locations such as the Saint Alexander Cathedral. You won’t need to spend any money on public transport, other than getting to and from the airport (which is a 20 minute drive). Also there are a lot of good food places only a short walk away such as The Rainbow Factory (breakfast/brunch) or Shtastlivetsa (dinner). The apartment itself is small but ideal for 2 people or short stays. The bed is a double bed, very comfy. The living room area is nice (you have a sofa and a tv) and the dining table is spacious. The kitchenette offers a small fridge, a stove, oven and a sink with lots of space for storage. There was also all the things needed to make meals - other than food🤣. This will definitely allow you to save money! The balcony was also very spacious. The host was lovely too. We didn’t have cash so he went with us to the cash machine, showed us a little around and directed us to the nearest car park as we hired a car! Great welcome to the trip. The location was also quiet but you can hear/see planes in the area. Great stay overall❤️❤️

These aren’t things that ruin the trip, rather things to bare in mind: - there is a shelf above the bathroom sink so be careful not to knock your head on it. - the shower will leak water onto the whole bathroom floor but does dry pretty quickly. - there is no sponge to clean the dishes with. - the host speaks limited English so be prepared! - you cannot park on the street so make sure you have cash for the closet parking (1 min walk away). We paid 10 lev for a day. - if you pay at the property make sure to have cash with you. Otherwise everything was great!

Nice and cozy apartment perfectly located next to all the attractions in Sofia. Fully equipped kitchen and WiFi works great!
