Hosts waited up for us - even though our plane arrived late. Very roomy apartment and in a good location and the hosts let us store our bags while we walked around for a while. Clean and felt safe.

Probably a later check out time is preferable when you're on holidays - but that was probably felt more deeply because of our very late arrival the night before.
