lovely little rustic square with nice restaurants below.

Good location: very close to the center of Split, the Riva, just 5 minutes walking to the sea/Riva. Apartment is big for 2 persons, and it is clean inside. It has everything with a washmachine and oven in the kitchen, but no microwave. And there are 2 airco’s inside. With a small balcony where you can dry your wet clothes 👏 The beds are strong, but would be a little too small for a tall person.

Unfortunately in the Booking.com app you can’t direct message to the person Smiljana, but you can send an email indirectly to the person. But I didn’t get a response, so I called the person directly. There is a Croatian phone number provided. Then I had contact easily with the person, finally through WhatsApp. At first I was afraid this apartment didn’t exist, and deadline was coming. Due to the personal situation of Smiljana, she couldn’t come on the day of check-in. We never met. But still everything went well, she instructed me how to get the key for this apartment 👏👏

Location is great, just a few steps outside of old town. Plenty of delicious restaurants and decent grocery stores nearby. It was convenient to have a kitchen and laundry machine insuite.

We found the bed too soft for our preference. Also the apartment is situated on top of a restaurant that played loud music from 9:30am-11:30pm daily.

This property was in the perfect location. It was almost on the Riva and just outside tte palace walls. It was a quiet apartment even though there were many restaurants surrounding it. There is a supermarket a ball toss away which was so handy. It’s a nice flat walk from the ferry/bus terminal (12 mins). The apartment had everything we needed including a much appreciated washing machine. The communication from our host was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

We loved everything and were very comfortable but maybe just a couple of wine glasses would be a nice addition in the kitchen.

Location was great, the apartment was a good size and homely. There were nice touches like a beach bag with two beach towels, an umberella etc.

As another reviewer mentioned, the apartment is above a restaurant and around 8pm they must turn on a vent/extractor and it vibrates the full apartment, it actually was making me feel ill so after the first night we made sure we were out of the apartment from 8-11ish to avoid this. Also when we turned on the aircon in both bedroom and living room, lots of black particles came out and landed over the floor, sofa, bed etc. this was quite worrying and I am unsure if it was mould or dirt. We both developed a cough and sore throat. While we needed to have the aircon on due to the heat, it also seemed to pull in the smells from the restaurant below so the apartment always smelled.

There was nothing I Didn’t like about the property

Amazing communication from the host with pictures to perfectly show where the apartment was and how to access it. It was very hot during our stay in split but the apartment has air con in both the bedroom and kitchen area which was amazing. We also made lots of use of the balcony! The apartment had everything you could need including extra towels and pillows. Perfect location right in the middle of the old town surrounded by amazing restaurants, 5 min walk to Diocletian palace and not too far to the beach! Deffo recommend.

Bed was a little too soft for my partner who has back issues but perfect for me!
