"Had a great couple of diaries in Split with the apartment being an ideal base to explore from."

Location was great, we were looked after by our host, the facilities were good.

Only difficulty was the stairs with heavy suitcases.

"Would love to stay here again!!"

Location, it’s very convenient and yet quiet after 11pm, there are supermarkets, very nice cafes and eateries just downstairs, literally. The property is immaculately clean and well equipped. The staff, Gordana, is amazing.

The toilet lid is detached / loose! It would be much comfortable to have a proper double bed instead of pulling two single beds together! Have some shower gel in the bathroom would be a nice little touch without much cost, really.

Leaving

8 flights of stairs. Host not willing to work with us when we had to cancel the second night when an elderly guest who had recent knee surgery advised they could not climb the 79 steps.

Very comfortable 2 bedroom flat with very spacious kitchen area plus separate lounge. Old building full of character. Contact with host was excellent with lots of helpful information.

"Great location for a short stay."

Close to everything!

A lot of steps. We were prepared for them and the way weren’t terrible, but still 4 flights. The air conditioning in the kitchen was propped open with cardboard. Not a huge deal, just got the fan from the other room to move the air around.

"Location, location, location!"

The location was amazing! We were right in the heart of Split, a few minutes walk from Diocletian’s Palace and the waterfront with its numerous eateries. Our host also suggested a couple of restaurants serving local Croatian cuisine, which were superb.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but be aware that the apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no lift.
