Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in historic city center

Super emplacement dans la Grande Place, près des objectifs touristiques,terrasses, aménagement très classe, grand espace de vie, offre livresque de goût et surtout… la petite attention de l’hôte !

Locatia exact ca in poze, curatenia ireprosabila, pozitia apartamentului perfecta in piateta mare. Locatie perfecta pentru familii sau ceva romantic cu partenerul/a .

Un televizor in plus in una din dormitoare ar ajuta. O draperie / jaluzea la geamul din bucatarie , vecinul din cladirea de vizavi era perfect vizbil.

1st, the location is outstanding. You walk outside, make a left turn, and you are in the main plaza. They call it Piata Mare. Once in the plaza, you are on foot, and surrounded by small to large restaurants, with indoor and outdoor seating, ice cream vendors (great ice cream), light shopping, and historic points of interest. There is something in the air, that makes this place, Sibiu, very special. The people are honest, friendly, and accommodating. The food is great, and you can Uber anywhere in the immediate area, for around 5 bucks. The rooms were very large, very clean. In general, you have everything you need in the room. The overall experience is a combination of epic, rustic, historic. The owner is friendly and responsive. If you are traveling with additional friends, or kids, the double room option (two rooms) with queen size beds makes this hotel a very good value.

I don't want to be unfair, but there are small issues with this and every other hotel I have run across in many years of travel in the country. As usual, not unique to this particular hotel, but more of a standard practice, there are minor details that are overlooked. Bathroom. Simple things like a toilet paper holder. None. Just set on the floor. An insert or attachment to put your soap or shampoo, in the shower. None. At the sink, a place to put your soap or cosmetics, or a small towel. None. And something that annoys me every place I have stayed, 3-4 stars, doesn't matter, the shower always does not have a curtain or a separation. So you take your shower, and the water just soaks the entire bathroom. Like I said, these are not deal breakers, specific to this hotel, or Sibiu. This is the norm across the country. The other thing, this hotel does not have Air Condition. I can vouch that even in July, middle of a week of heatwave, the temperature inside the room was bearable. This building was built many years ago, with very solid rock. So it holds its temperature well. Just don't open the window, cause the heat will get in, and will be maintained. For the overall cost and presentation, I believe a minimal investment would go a long way, to provide an actual AC unit in the room. Don't get me wrong, I accept, and love this country, with it's peculiar oddities. The only reason I even write this review, is in the hope that this owner, and maybe others, will take some very minor steps, to make their investments shine.

Locația ultracentral. Specificul apartamentului superb.

Greu cu parcarea

Konumu muhteşemdi. Ev çok temiz ve konforluydu. Evin önüne kadar arabayla gelip eşyalarınızı bırakabilirsiniz. Kahve makinesi , mutfak araç gereçleri vardı.
