Amazing apartment!! The location is unbeatable - central and with easy access to all major sites, restaurants/cafes, and shopping. There is a grocery store very nearby (about 3 minutes walk) that is excellently supplied; there are countless nearby options for lunch/dinner and espresso. Despite it's central location, the apartment is very quiet and we were not disturbed by outside noise. The apartment itself is gorgeous! The furnishings are lavish and comfortable, and the floorplan was very spacious. We LOVED the lofted sleeping space and appreciated that there is an AC unit on that level to help reduce summer heat. The view is phenomenal and opening the windows each morning to rooftops and views of the cathedral was a magical experience. As for the hosts, Gianluca and Alessandro were EXCELLENT. Communication was clear, proactive, and service-oriented. Alessandro met us at the valet parking (15 euros per day, which is fantastic, and extremely good service), walked with us to the apartment, and shared thorough information about the apartment and details regarding the stay. The apartment had been stocked with pastries, cookies and biscuits, orange juice, milk, and wine. Honestly, we felt spoiled by the attention to detail and kind, service-oriented process. I give this apartment and Gianluca/Alessandro my highest recommendation, and I would gladly stay here again in the future.

The AC unit in the lofted space was excellent, but the units in the living room did not cool very effectively. Normally, I think it would be fine, but during the heat wave it did get a little warm in the apartment at times.
