Sweet home in the heart of Sofia

It was a really great apartment in Sofia, with THE perfect location, round the corner of Vitoshka, we can really recommend it. Super spacious, great for families with kids, plus we got an extra baby bed free of charge, which was very helpful. The checkin was super easy, you don't need to meet the host, you're getting a code. Wifi reliable, the area quiet, no noise, the subway right there, 1 minute away from the entrance. The kitchen well equipped and completely sufficient. The host extremely friendly and welcoming.

There was a perfumed smell in the flat, we don't think this is healthy long term and we would recommend that the perfume is not used. The heating wasn't working, even though we tried with the AC - this may not be the host's fault, it was the beginning of October so maybe they weren't heating yet. Still, a great flat despite some heating hiccups!

Beautiful and convenient location. The church courtyard outside seems to be a popular place for families. There are kids laughing and it is a pleasant atmosphere, even late at night and early morning. Metro access is practically outside the door and many tourist sites are a short (like 5 minutes leisurely pace) distance away and yet it is a quiet spot given the proximity of the hustle and bustle. The apartment itself is as cute as a button and was my refuge after a long day out. I found myself eager to go “home” for the night because it is just so cozy. The check-in process was straightforward, with Stoiana sending me a code to the lockbox. She responded almost instantly to my messages and was very welcoming. I absolutely adored this place, so if you haven’t booked yet, hurry, before it is booked out!

I really liked this place but there are some things that others may not appreciate, such as: -apartment is on the 3rd floor (or 2nd depending on how you count floors) and there is no lift. -the shower is Bulgarian style, so no shower curtain. The sink and toilet get wet in the process (but materials to wipe it all down are provided). Also, there is a separate toilet, so 2 separate toilets which I think is very convenient. -the air conditioner is in the living room (contrary to other reviews it works very well) but the bedroom is positioned so that the cool air doesn’t flow there. However, there is an electric fan in the bedroom and there are also screens on the windows. I found that evening were cool and so having the windows cracked open were sufficient.

The apartment is very nice, cozy and centrally located. Stoiana is very friendly and responsive! Thank you for the hospitality!

The location is excellent. It’s so close to all the restaurants, shops and sights. The flat is very charming and convenient and it has everything you might need. The wi-fi is fast for those that are working. The property owner is very friendly and helpful with everything.

There is nothing not to like

Exactly as in the photos, with abundant sunshine either morning (kitchen) or afternoon (living room and bedroom). The apt is roomy, comfortable, ideally located, well supplied. The host Stoiana was easy to communicate with and so accommodating. She allowed us to leave our luggage in the apt for a couple hours after check out time. The neighborhood is safe and quiet with so many restaurants, cafes, shops nearby. Plus there is a Metro stop a few meters from the building entrance.

Nothing comes to mind.

Mattress had a long life No light blocking in the bedroom Pretty hot in the bedroom Street a bit noisy. Basically I didn't sleep great. (Ps: tv sounds is a bit dead)

Really nice and cosy place . Beautiful view from the window. The bedroom really comfortable, we both had a nice sleep. Close to all attractions.
