Green Homestay - Foreigner Only

The host couple were very friendly and more than accommodating. They went out of their way to cook meals and do my washing etc. They even gave my a souvenir for remembrance sake.

No complaints whatsoever.

the hospatality .i was shown to the doctor .escorted to the train station on leaving.miss parks help with booking on computer her husband helped with other things. they provided fruit for me to eat.i needed some bed items and was provided .the washing was done for me.these two people where great .all i did was teach some australian english to them eg tomata i stayed 4 weeks this is too long .i think 2 weeks.the train is 3 minute walk. the shopping for young middle class people is at myeongdong.it was a good place to stay.get a metro map from train station at changdong

this is not a did not like. i just had to get used of korean custom in the house.there are some things in korea that are totally differant from western world.eg this goes here and that goes there. recycling is a big thing.only when you walk there are no bins. but i found it very hard to talk to korean people. i think you are alian. but it was ok

The location was very convenient. Only 400 metres from the subway and close to nice parks. The host gave me nice food. The hosts were friendly

The fact that I didn't have any privacy. The bedroom was very small with no outside window. The window in the bedroom opened out to their laundry room, and early morning the host opened the blind to the laundry room when the sun would shine in my room and then she could also see into my room. There wasn't anywhere for me to sit and relax. Other than in the very small bedroom. There wasn't a bedside table for me to use. The shower was useless. When I ate, again I was watched over. Unfortunately, I extended my stay to a third night. I did this on the first night I arrived at the Green Homestay as the hotel I had prebooked to go to after the green homestay cancelled my booking due to maintenance issues. At the time, I didn't know how overpowering I would find the husband and wife who lived in the apartment. They were intrusive. I'm a mature lady who likes to make my own decisions. This took away the holiday feel to my stay. The host was working through the night in her study , I could see the light on . I had to creep around.

Great and comfortable homestay with gracious hosts!
