Sunflower Apartment, recently renovated stylish dog-friendly two bedroom apartment near Tenby with outdoor space

Location not too far to Tenby and Saundersfoot

Not properly clean prior to our check-in. There’s a lot of spiders & spiders web in every corners. My poor 2 children’s is so scared of it and they can’t sleep and rest well. Toaster is oily inside/outside. Stains on the floor. The shower hot water only can used 1 at a time and then we have to wait 30 mins to 1hr roughly for the next use, as the tank is small. I hope this can be change to electric shower so it’ll be more convenient for a long term benefit. Other than that everything is alright. With washing machine, hoover, and dishwasher.

The apartment was nice, and we liked the welcome gift of cookies and coffee etc which was thoughtful. Sion was very good at responding to communications. Very much appreciated.

The location is a bit out of the way, which isn't too bad a thing, it's just very quiet. The lock for the door was extremely difficult to open and unlock. On the Sunday I spent 20 mins trying to lock the door. Eventually getting it right. The yellow sofa and the double bed were uncomfortable.

Location, price and clean-ish

We arrived and immediately saw a plastic Kipling cake container under settee. There was leftover food in freezer from previous tenants. None of the clocks were working (batteries dead). Main light in bathroom not working. Damp issue (possible leak) under sink causing liquid leak on to kitchen floor. Mouldy rubber sealant around bath and mouldy, rotting doorframe in bathroom. Obvious build up of filth around shower controls (cleaned by us). Dirty food marks on sofa cushions. (Blood?)-stains on cushion on bed. Many visible cobwebs on walls/ceilings. Lacking in cooking condiments (no tin opener, masher, cheese grater, sharp knifes, tongs, poor eating utensils, one wooden chopping board but nothing for meat), one tea spoon, cheap frying pans. Only one toilet roll provided. Broken blind in kids bedroom.

Good location

The bathroom was damp and very mouldy. There were bugs in the bed. It was extremely difficult to lock the apartment door. It was very dusty throughout. Under the sink was very dirty.

Tired looking property, no internet very poor signal, sofa bed very basic and full of dust etc, light in bathroom not working and broken blind in small bedroom

Nothing much

Too near to main road, you could hear the traffic in the night, so had to sleep with windows shut. Internet was useless. Grandkids were excited to see a play station 3 but internet was so rubbish that they could not play on it. Did not mention that had two flights of stairs to apartment. Stains on settee and brown water leaking out of cupboard door on to kitchen floor all the time. Grout around bath was black.

Nice location, animals were great. Good facilities

Could do with someone snagging the property.

The apartment is located in a lovely park with other lodges, apartments and glamping facilities. Sunflower is laid out well and is a comfortable place to stay.

We read the reviews before we came so we're aware that it could do with a good refresh. Some of the areas looked a little neglected, such as the roof lights which were dirty. The bed in the main bedroom was very low and with the slope of the roof, made it a little restricted getting in and out, but at least I had a lovely stubbed toe to remember it by! 😂. The outdoor table and chairs could do with cleaning or replacing, but it was a nice area to sit and enjoy the evening.

Well kitted out Bed linen / towels very clean

Low bed ( too low for anyone with mobility issues) No hand rail in bath / Shower. ( needed to assist with any body with mobility issues) Windows ( skylights) in bathroom & bedroom need a good clean. Mould around bath ,needs removing.
