The kindness of the host and the central location.

The courtyard where the building is located is a bit frightening, which contrasts with the surrounding buildings... especially since the apartment is on the ground floor. In general, the apartment lacks a bit of comfort.

The place was centrally located and clean, cosy but had all we needed for 3 nights.

Lovely location, nice apartment

The property was located right next to the Split old town. Everything was so easy to reach.

The booking was stated we need to check out at 11. One of the representatives came at 10:30 and said it's impossible to check out at 11. I texted saying we may be able to check out earlier in order to catch the bus but that doesn't mean we are not allowed to stay until 11. That representative can be more polite, we checked out at 10:40 eventually.

Location was excellent. Frane, the owner, was great. The decor was very nice.

Advertised as having a washing machine, but didn't. Happily, the owner compensated us for laundry costs. Found it difficult to make a meal, due to size of kitchen. No cutting board for food preparation. No bread knife for cutting all that lovely crusty bread at the supermarket. Sofa really couldn't seat more than one comfortably as it only had one back cushion, and it was so low to the ground that it was difficult to get up. Shower ran out of hot water after only two minutes, and the handle on the shower head rotated so you couldn't get a grip on it. Bed was on the mezzanine and was okay but for some reason they added another platform that meant you couldn't stand up straight because the bed was then too close to the ceiling.

The location and facilities were good.

This compact apartment is in a fantastic location in split for a short stay.. So east to get everywhere and right on the doorstep of the old town. Frane was a fantastic host. Was so easy to contact and answered all my messages within minutes and was very helpful. The bed on mezzanine was comfortable. And the apartment was very clean. It suited our needs for a 4 night stay. The apartment would suit a couple. There was 3 of us myself, my husband and 18 year old daughter. We managed with the space, but didn't spend much time in the apartment. Frane has made the most of the compact space and we were really happy with our time there. A few steps away is a bakery and supermarket. And koko bar serves the cheapest drink we got in Croatia! I would definitely recommend the apartment for a couple.

There was no real negatives. Maybe if you are looking for a view this apartment doesn't have one. But what it lacked in esthetics, it made up for in location.
