The location was amazing, very close to the South Entrance of the Grand Canyon NP. We also liked that it gets really quiet and you have the chance to see lots of stars in the sky.

The accommodation is way too small for 2 traveling people. There is no way to place your luggage at all. The AC is taped into the window (see photo), and there were electricians working in the unit next to ours when we arrived, and didn’t leave until 9PM. They were playing with the electricity, which turned off ours too for 15 minutes. When reaching out to the owners about when they’d leave, we got 0 reply. Also, they were back at 7AM the next day. They had to reach into the space below our unit, too. Some communication here would’ve been appreciated about what to expect, then it would have been totally fine. The shower is so small you can barely turn around, the curtains let through all light possible. Even with an eye mask on it was like you didn’t have any curtains at all. And to top it off, we didn’t have enough toilet paper. There was no spare roll either. We got very detailed check-out instructions including all the possible fines that come with it, as some kind of scare tactic and we had to take out our own trash, which we thought was odd for a place with housekeeping staff. We’re not usually the complaining types at all, but this accommodation just did not live up to our expectations.

The 1 mile long road to the property is not paved, not good for sedans. The room is extremely small that there is no space to open a luggage. No chairs in the room. Windows cannot open, so the air circulation is bad. The sink exhaust was broken, and no one to complain to. The shower space is so small, I can barely turn around in it. I have stayed in plenty of cheap hotels across us and Canada, and I can say without hesitation that this is the worst experience I had.

The property is very small, but it is very good value for money. The property was clean, well presented, and the owner was very responsive.

No room to seat, eat or use the laptop.

Needs a chair or stool to sit on. Needs instructions on making the TV work. The rates are modestly over-priced.

It was overpriced and was very small and the air conditioner was taped into the window with plywood around it. Very shabby on the outside as well.

Comfy bed, good heating, very basic kitchenette with coffee pod machine, microwave and fridge which was enough for us to heat up some dinner and have a basic breakfast in the morning. Location is very close to Grand Canyon NP without the price tag of some of the closer hotels. Great communication and tips from the hosts.

There was no cutlery provided in the room, despite having a plate and a bowl. I have contacted the hosts to fix this when we checked out and they responded quickly. Shower is very small. The unit was fairly hard to find at night, a map with the unit numbers would be handy. Price was very high for the size and quality of the room, but that's just the nature of the area close to such a popular and amazing attraction.

It was easy to get in.

We arrived at night and the sign was difficult to see. We went down the wrong road and I had a hard time finding a phone number or way to message the property owner. When I did find a phone number I had to call it multiple times before someone picked up. The plates were dirty when we arrived and we weren't readily given the WiFi password. I called 6 times before someone picked up and gave me the password. It would make more sense if it were written down somewhere in the room.
