Daintree Beach Studio - BEACH FRONT ACCOMMODATION

Lovely location, excellent outdoor lounge and kitchen, close to ocean, amazing greenery, close to Daintree River. Loved it and the welcome package of wine and various foods was world class Hospitality.

Impossible to find after dark, the house number is well back from the road and not visible at night

Beautiful place to get away from all the distractions of the world.

Quality of the breakfast not applicable - we self catered. We were very comfortable for four nights. The pool was great and it was very quiet. No TV, which suited us for a short stay! Very restful - private and relaxing. This is a single unit beside a house - a very clever use of the garage (converted) we thought. We did not need the Air conditioner on, at all, but there was also a ceiling fan over the bed which we used after a shower.

The bathroom badly needs an extractor fan - too steamy, and we stayed in June, the coolest month of the year! I dread to think what it would be like in January. The bathroom floor tiles did not drain well - pools of water everywhere after a shower (we find this is a very common problem, even in very upmarket hotels - never adequate slope towards the drainage outlet)

Very accommodating host

In a very quiet location, somewhat spoiled on a couple of evenings by a couple of barking dogs, who seemed to have been left unattended at a neighbouring house. The open plan area was very pleasant to sit in and relax.

The outer kitchen area was open to the elements, so not great when it rained!

Its a very zen place.
