Casa Don Plinio Amalfi Center

This property was AMAZING! We loved staying here as it was so close to the town centre - just a few steps away! It was also so spacious and very clean! It had everything you would need in an accommodation - including a washer! The host was very accommodating and stayed in close communication if we needed anything at all. I would DEFINITELY recommend staying here!

The apartment is very nice, big, clean, with view on the main street. The host was very responsive. We had a great time there.

The host, Alessandra, met us in the city center upon arrival to walk us to the room (it's a bit of a maze the first time you do it, then it's very easy), give us the keys, and show us everything. The apartment was clean and spacious, and it was very spacious for a week-long stay. The apartment is nicely located, with two grocery stores nearby and a short walk to the main piazza, bus stop, and ferry pier. There's a small balcony off the bedroom that overlooks the main street going up the hill from the water. Alessandra was easy to get in touch with and was very responsive to our inquiries during the stay.

The hot water took a little while to warm up (not unusual) but then it would often get cold after a short usage before warming up again. Alessandra responded immediately to our initial inquiry about this and came by with a maintenance person to adjust the pressure, but it still seemed a little funky during the stay. Perhaps it's just the nature of the building or user error. The apartment sits directly over the main town road, so although the balcony has great soundproofed doors to keep the noise out, you can still hear it when cars pass underneath the building (essentially the bedroom). It's not too loud though and we quickly got used to it.

Spacious, cozy & extremely clean apartment in the best location, perfect for families with small children. Alessandra was very helpful sharing tips, ferry/bus timetables and her favorite restaurants in town.

The location was fabulous right in the heart of Amalfi opening up to famous Amalfi street. The hosts were great and very helpful. The property was spacious for a family of 4 and very clean and nicely maintained.

Everything was excellent. The place looks just like in the photos and was spotless. We had a couple of additional requests and the host was so helpful. We also got some really good tips about the area and local restaurants.
