Casa do Zé II AL

Really loved the whole feel of this place. Very beautiful house with lovely gardens and pretty views. So great to have a washing machine and clothes line provided. The host, although we never met, was easy to communicate with via booking.com and, when we asked for a heater (because it's been unseasonable bad weather), the request was fulfilled promptly. It made our stay so much more snug. We loved that they had board games. It was very nice to introduce our son to Snakes and Ladders. The kitchen is super well-equipped and even has some handy cooking basics such as salt and pepper. Gorgeous, quiet location. It's a short walk to the shoreline and it's really nice to investigate the rock pools there. There is a great outdoor kitchen too.

The hot water took quite a while to come through, and the shutters/windows were very noisy at night banging around in the wind.

The surrounding and close to the ocean

The house was well decorated but the best was the view from the little terrace: sea and view of Pico island and mountain. The location is very quiet (except at night due to the sound of Cory's shearwater, but that was charming) and rural.

this place is an absolute essence of Ilha do São Jorge! traditional stylish and modern in the same way apartment,quietly located with amazing Pico views. Rita is a very helpful host. highly recommended
