Lichtrijke loft bij restaurant Den Olifant

Location, Open plan living space, views.

May have considered the restaurant had a menu been available in the room. Door closer was very stiff making it quite difficult to enter & exit with luggage, door does not freely open past 80 degrees.

Great location, perfect stay

Instructions to the apartment straightforward and easily to follow. Loved the location and interior. Little touches like sweets and drinks in the fridge. Excellent facilities for families with young children. There was an air con unit in the kitchen.

Beds were a little firm for me but that is personal preference.

property was excellent (and very clean), location is excellent, quiet and central, host was easy to contact and communicate with, plenty of room for a family of 4. Ieper is great to visit - very clean, felt very safe, and very polite (surprisingly so given local motorists will stop to let you cross the road... happened 3 times, a little different to London!). Menin gate service at 2000 daily is a fantastically respectful act.

It is a loft so not so much of a surprise ... steep stairs and some restricted headroom (our family ranges from 170 cm to 192 cm tall). Fine if cautious. We drove to Ieper and car parking needs a bit of organising - free car parking is 10 min walk away at station, paid parking is restricted. But understandable given very central location.

Very friendly hosts, terrific ultra modern accomadation, great in-house restaurant with delicious food, great location in Ypres.

Nothing, everything was great. Rueben was extremely helpful and friendly

Too many stairs but I did book the loft. I hadn't thought about the stairs so my fault

The property was centrally located and very spacious. The apartment is close to everything; shopping, museums, points of interest., It had all of the things that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped although we didn't cook during our stay. Ruben and Margo were wonderful hosts. They were very attentive to our needs. We loved spending time with their dog Pierre. We wish we had more time to spend there.

There were a lot of narrow stairs and this could be problematic for someone with limited mobility or lots of luggage. The apartment is on three floors and the first floor of the apartment is on the first floor, not the ground floor.
