Cais de São Roque by Home Sweet Home Aveiro

The apt is cute and has the things guests need. Newly remodeled. Staff were attentive. The location is good (and will be better when construction in the Center is complete.). The canal outside is not a bustling canal. Makes a great place to run.

Theres a sofa jammed in that small apt that makes things difficult (closet doors cant be open etc). The big issue for us was that there is a highway off in the distance that is loud (esp on windy days) so we never could have windows open. If windows are closed traffic noice is pretty much nonexistent. The outside is sidewalk, road, sidewalk, canal, big parking lot, and then highway. So the front is quiet in terms of people bustle but it has car bustle. But if you go into apt, close blinds, its very quiet. Also on first floor so that adds to the ease.

Perfect location in Aveiro. Easy to get to all parts by foot. Unit had all that we needed.

No complaints. Parking was nearby and available.

Great location, friendly host, generous sized bathroom and well equipped kitchen.

Double bed. Could have fitted a queen size bed in the apartment and done away with the couch (which we didn’t use at all).
