Casa Grace Amalfi - seaview

The apartment we were given access to was larger than we expected with a fully functional kitchen (complete with coffee and other supplies and a dining table), a living room with a large TV and work setup, and a beautiful balcony to enjoy the Amalfi coast views from. The rooftop setup for enjoying the views was appreciated. The WiFi was more reliable than what we experienced in our Florence stays! The host also kept in constant communication with us through WhatsApp to make sure any needs we had were met. The three layers of gates/doors to get through made us feel safer. Once you get into the property, you will also have access to a thick binder with ALL the information you may need (instructions on travel/food/entertainment etc.). With a little bit of walking, and if you have the UNICO Campania app downloaded, it is easy to travel to other Amalfi coast towns without having to go backwards to the central Amalfi bus hub first.

Without very thorough instructions, it is difficult to reach the location by bus for the first time. We got off at Vettica Inferiore rather than Vettica Minore/Vettica Torricella, and it was a tough situation in the pouring rain. Thankfully, the host called a taxi for us! Vettica Inferiore is a stop Google Maps will keep suggesting, but do not take it unless you want to take 460 steep steps up to the location. The location is a bit of a walk away from the bus stop, but that allowed us to enjoy the beautiful views for a few more minutes every day!

Beautiful view, good wifi, "electric fireplace", comfortable bed, and check in was very easy. Overall we had a very nice 3 nights. Thanks!

Buses: Since it's 2 km "up" and to the side from town centre, buses are practically necessary. The apartment has a book of helpful information but understanding the schedule can still be challenging. (Determine the proper buses and pre-purchase tickets in town at the tobacchi shop near the central depot when you first arrive to make this easier.) This is not the apartment's fault at all. The apartment was comfortable but lacked a few essentials for us like dish soap, hand soap, spatula, sharp knife, and cooking oil but otherwise had everything we needed!

It was easy to access, the host is easy to access and attentive, and the rooftop has a lovely view.

The bathroom light over the sink flickers randomly even when off. One of the bedside lamps didn't work.

The apartment is too simple and doesnt make you feell "homey" at all. the shower is tiny! the water leaks from the boiler onto your head when sitting in the toilet.the single bed are un comfortable

The place was amazing, and the location was great. The host were really attentive (even got us soap for the washer at 9pm) Was a really good stay

The bed is not good. 2 spring mattress on a broken base. Please replace 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

The terrace had amazing views

The staff was very rude at check in and not helpful with transportation and directions. The location is very difficult if you have never taken the bus or been in the area before. You have to go up many stairs to get to any restaurants and overall is an inconvenient location. Breakfast delivery was not available during our stay which we were very unhappy about
