We stayed for 5 nights in august (family of 6). Apparently, that is the month most Italians go on holiday. Many restaurants were closed and the ones that were open were always very busy and needed reservation beforehand. The upside, however, was that there weren't any (really any at all) busy streets! The streets in the vicinity were practically abandoned! That's why we explored the city always by car, the parking at Palazzo was only 10 min away. There was one master bedroom (very big) with its own bathroom, then a second bedroom with double bed, and finally there was a (large) fold open sofa bed in the living room.

The washing machine didn't function properly and maybe some more ventilators would be handy in the summer (there is no air conditioning). We were unlucky with the (tiger?) mosquitos which gave a nasty bite, but that's not the hosts fault obviously!
