Fewo Küstenklang - ideal für zwei, mit Terrasse

Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber und modern ausgestattet. Der Parkplatz direkt neben der Unterkunft auf einen kleinen Hinterhof war ausreichend.

Wenn man in Breege was unternehmen möchte, gibt es nicht viel. Sicherlich kommt es auf die verschiedenen Interessen an. Wer seine Ruhe haben möchte und einfach nur die sehr gute Luft genießen möchte, ist in Breege genau richtig.

Nice quiet Village on the lagoon side. 10 minutes walk to the harbour with a few restaurants. 2 minutes walk to a Minisupermarket. Breege and Juliusruh are two villages connected with each other. Juliusruh faces the open sea with a 8km long sandy beach, about 20 minutes walk Very good for families and those who seek a quieter holiday to relax and recharge. The area is good to visit Kap Arkona, Altenkirchen and Sagard for some shopping, Sassnitz is about 30 min drive and the Jasmund National Park 20-30 minutes drive. The nearest Supermarket is in Altenkirchen 4km and Glowe 8km. From the harbour you can take a ferry to the island of Hiddensee or go fishing, you could also hire/ charter boats there. The property was part of a larger holiday flat complex of about 12 flats. The flat is on the ground floor and was clean and functional. It had 1 bedroom and a kitchen-living-diner, it was probably larger than most 2-room arpartments, it had a outdoor terrace with garden furniture, the kitchen had most things you need for a self-catering holiday, although some improvements would be good. The bathroom was well equipped, the shower worked well. There were a large TV, free Wifi and some boardgames too. There is a dedicated parking space for each apartment. If you are looking for a very private space overlooking the water, then maybe this is isnt for you, but if you need a practical accomodation with cooking facility to explore the area then book it. The village is very nice, sadly they gone a bit mad with building too many holiday homes. All in all we had a great stay, the area is fantastic, you can go walking, swimming, surfing, sailing etc. We'll be back in the warmer months. Be advised to book early to get better deals.

Although the property was well appointed there are some points, I would like to raise, where things could be improved: There was ane oven sitting on top of the fridge that one couldn't use unless you put it on the floor because the cable was to short to connect it to a powersupply. Some kitchen equipment needed adding: teaspoons, more cutlery in general, cooking spoons were missing, another medium pan and medium pot. The flat is more suited to 2 people because the sofabed is very uncomfortable to sleep on, we are a family with 2 adults and one child, 13. We took turns but it left us feeling very tired. I don't understand why landlords don't bother spending a bit more on such things when the are letting their properties at a premium price especially in the summer months. One could arrange it so that another bed with pullout bed goes in the bedroom or provide additional foldout beds or buy a better sofa bed! It would be good if there was a key safe at the property, not in another town. We arrived in the evening und had to work out where the keys were, there was a note on the door of the office. The lady on the phone told me a keysafe number and code but forgot to mention that the keysafe was at the office not the property itself. so we drove about 10 km to the property only to finde out that we had to return to the property office to collect the keys. this should be made clearer in the instructions for arrival. The flat also felt quite clinical with just the tiled flooring, one could think of ways or using durable rugs to make it feel more homely. When we arrived it was freezing cold, it would be nice if the heating was turned on for a bit on the day of arrival. I know this is very German but it would be more welcoming if bed sheets and towels were included in the price. The cleaning fee of EUR 99,00 is to high for a small 2-room-apartment. All in all we had a good stay but would probably go elsewhere and book a property that has 3 proper beds.
