Poggio Antico House

Casa molto curata nei minimi dettagli, pulizia ottima, addirittura la proprietaria a metà soggiorno ci ha chiesto se volevamo cambiare gli asciugamani. L’host è stata molto gentile e disponibile.

Vista bellissima sul mare di Amalfi, ma purtroppo la struttura si trova a 20 minuti di autobus da Amalfi centro per cui bisogna sempre prendere mezzi di trasporto pubblici nel caso in cui non si abbia i propri

Très belle vue, appartement confortable et qui reste au frais malgré la chaleur extérieure. Gentillesse et accueil de Vittorio.

L'hébergement vaut surtout pour sa vue mer extraordinaire, et ses beaux extérieurs fleuris. Sinon, la maison en elle-même n'a aucun caractère, aucune déco (juste 4 reproductions de Claude Monet sur les murs blancs, on se demande ce que ça vient faire là...). Mais elle est confortable et fonctionnelle. Le village de Pogerola est super agréable, avec deux mini-épiceries et des p'tits restos sympas, à l'écart des foules d'Amalfi, en hauteur (prévoir d'y monter en bus, au départ d'Amalfi, sauf pour les gros marcheurs qui pourront y monter par les escaliers par lesquels on peut redescendre, mais ça chauffe sacrément les cuisses!). Un vrai bonheur d'y rentrer le soir, au calme !

L'équipement de la cuisine est ultra-réduit, il faut s'accrocher pour cuisiner un peu. Juste un gros fait-tout qui a dû en voir passer, des touristes, au regard de ses rayures... Le wifi est très faiblard à l'étage. Quant à l'eau, elle passe du bouillant au froid, sans toucher à rien, dans la douche comme dans la cuisine. Enfin, comme on était dans le logement situé sous la rue et le parking, à chaque passage d'une voiture (heureusement il en passe très peu), on entendait une sorte de grondement (la première fois, on a pensé à de l'orage, au loin...).

La struttura è posizionata in un posto meraviglioso, da dove puoi ammirare una panoramica mozzafiata. Il host gentilissimo, ci ha fornito informazioni molto utili sui posti. raccomandatissimo. 🤗

The sea view was spectacular. This older, well-maintained property offered us privacy and relative quietness, which can't be found in Amalfi, and the surrounding yard/gardens were tranquil. The bedroom was spacious and bed was comfortable. The kitchen had the basics that were needed. Bathrooms and kitchen functioned properly, and linens were provided. There are 2 tiny grocers appx 3/4 km and 178 stairs above this property, for items needed to prepare simple in-house breakfasts. There were also 2 restaurants in the vicinity of the grocery stores. The host phoned on our second or third day to see if we needed more towels or anything else, which we thought was very kind.

Reaching the location from Amalfi took planning and time. There were hundreds of stairs from the nearest bus stop to the property. Guests are not allowed to access the wifi, and data was spotty. It was a bit tough to not have the use of a microwave.

Nice reception. Enza was waiting for us when we arrived, showed us around, and gave us helpful tips about getting around the city and where to eat. Overall, the house was good and clean, with two bathrooms and air conditioning. We recommend this place strongly !

It isn’t the coziest home (it could use a bit more decoration and amenities), but it does the job perfectly !! Be prepared to walk up a hill to reach public transportation.

La casa estaba un poco retirada pero nada que no se pueda solucionar con el coche. Ahora con mucho cuidado en las calles y a la hora de llegar porque son muy estrechas. El dueño encantador ayudando en todo lo que pidas. Las vistas inmejorables.

Location was beautiful.
