Host was initially polite and quick to respond, but as soon as we had an issue they would not respond. We asked if we could stay the night prior we did NOT ASK for this for free at all! But asked if there was any reduction as we wouldn’t get there till very late. But I’m thankful we didn’t stay the extra night. 6 out of 8 of us experienced a tight chest while in this property, one of the guests had to obtain an emergency inhaler. We were told there was damp and mould 2 hours before we arrived which did worry me and the mould was extensive in the stairwell in particular! Clearly some sort of damp issues, as we were all fine when were out of the property. The sofa bed in family room, I’m sorry it was extremely uncomfortable and the bedding tired and not plush. The carpets are definetely not new or perhaps a lot of guests since they had them fitted as the lounge dining area felt dirty and tired with some Disgusting stains by the bins. The sofa bed in the lounge look broken and seemed dangerous with the kids close by. There was a Burn in the other sofa but the Sofas were comfortable. The Recycling bins in the dining room/lounge area were gross. Kitchen had a very musky horrible smell so we barely used it. Towel rail in bathroom falling off. Everything felt cheaply done Im afraid. the other double rooms were quite small. It was noisy in all the rooms at night I’m afraid and it was off peak. The only good thing was the location, that was excellent, but would we go back, definetely not. The host hannah, was lovely until we mentioned we were all unwell. We sent a nice message mentioning an air purifier as I wouldn’t want the next guests to suffer the same issues, she ignored us & then tried to say we left it unclean, which is appalling as we hoovered and left it better than when we arrived! We put any nappies in the general waste, as they are general waste! The host didn’t care that we were all ill because of the damp.i don’t like leaving a bad review.

it was a little cold at times but we were there in exceptionally cold weather.

Perfect location, very well equipped apartments everything was provided. Spacious clean and tidy. Exceptional value and would definately use again. Recommend to all. 5* very happy 😃
