Silvia's communication and instructions for parking (a 2 minute walk from the property)and meeting her were excellent. She gave us a tour of this quaint duplex apartment, which she explained was part her old family home. We loved taking our breakfast on the balcony upstairs with its stunning views - one night, we even watched a thunderstorm - it was incredible! We also loved the swallows watching us as we entered the little courtyard of the building. The bathroom was modern, with a washing machine which was an asset to us on our road trip. Wi-Fi was good too. Also a good choice of restaurants, bars and cafes around the corner Recommend 100%

Downstairs, although adequate, is quite dated and the stairs are quite narrow, however this is reflected in the price, which is great value for money compared to other properties nearby.

No welcome bottle of water on arrival Quiet isolated if you don't have a car. There is a bus stop to Stresa, bus goes every hour monday-saturday, and only 3 times per day on Sunday

The balcony view is definitely what makes this place a must stay! Nicely hidden from the public but located right on the promenade. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable. This side gets the morning sun which is nice for breakfast. There is a coffee capsule coffee machine. Big fridge and freezer. Lots of crockery and cooking equipment.

Shower is fairly small and you need to be careful to contain the water with the curtain. The balcony chairs provided could be comfier, by replacing or adding cushions.
