Apartamento Villarias

A very friendly lady gave us very detailed instructions because the host was on vacation. Right in the city centre of Bilbao and it's easy to access everything, on foot or by metro. The apartment is clean and it functions in a way that meets group travelling purposes well. The host responded fast when we needed to park our car for a bit longer and didn't know the arrangement of keys.

The sink was leaking a bit and there was only one set of keys for the apartment, which makes it complicated for a big group of friends. The location has only one parking lot, one has to pay extra if you have two cars. The sofa bed was quite difficult to set up, but it is comfortable to sleep on.

Check-in was great. The guide was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Central location was fantastic. Property was clean and spacious.

Whilst the location was fantastic, the apartment was very noisy as it was directly above a street with bars. This is understandable but should be mentioned in the description. The kitchen was well equipped with appliances, but very little cutlery, plates, cups cooking utensils. Some of the electrical points didn't work and some were dangerous. Some of the plumbing (toilets and showers) need work.The locks on the building were really awkward, even the residents had problems. I think the apartment needs a maintenance service.
