Es war alles wunderbar

L’appartement est situé au centre-ville. Tout était accessible à pied. Dans la plus vieille des maisons survécues à la guerre, l’appartement au premier étage avait bcp de charme. C’était aménagé avec le goût de l’époque et le confort le plus possible en préservant l’authenticité du lieu. C’était confortable pour nous- une famille avec des enfants à bas âge.

Le sol craque mais finalement personne s’est réveillé à cause de ça alors cela n’a pas dû déranger plus que ça.

It is a really stunning apartment in one of the oldest buildings in Ypres. The location is superb, it is a 5 minute walk from the Cloth Hall, a 10 minute walk from the Menin Gate and a 10 minute walk from the station. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped and feels like a home. A lovely touch from the owners leaving wine and chocolates.

De authenticiteit en sfeer, gezelligheid in het appartement zijn echt een plus. Locatie is top! Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd, alles wat je eventueel nodig kan hebben is aanwezig... Er is ook een mooi buitenterras beschikbaar. Prijs-kwaliteit goed.

Voor ons is er niet echt iets tegen gevallen. Als we iets moeten zeggen, de vloeren kraken een beetje, maar dat hoort er natuurlijk bij.

If I could give this place more stars, I would! It was a perfect experience: one night, I slept almost 10 hours. Kids' space was comfy, the tea, coffee, and milk were thoughtful, and the wifi strong. Loved the springtime sunshine in our corner room

We arrived early, and on contacting the owner, he allowed us to check in early. The apartment was spacious and well equipped with all we needed for our stay. Situated in the town, close to shops and sites. The apartment is in a very historic building and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to Valary and Peter.
