Sofie was an excellent host: very helpful, responsive, generous, and considerate. Her townhouse was even better than described and free parking right outside (with a blue disc) was awesome. The house, billed as a one-bed apartment, is, quite simply, perfect with everything you could possibly need! Beautifully and stylishly decorated, comfortably furnished, and only a 20 minute stroll from Bruges Grote Markt. Lovely, secluded terrace and garden - perfect for a summer time aperitif! The upstairs bedroom is spacious and comfortable and the bath (separate loo, and shower) is an absolutely luxurious pleasure. The through lounge, kitchen and seating area downstairs is open plan, very spacious and extremely well equipped.

The stairs are quite steep - care needs to be taken.

Had difficulty accessing the property. Lock box code wasn’t given in advance and had difficulty contacting the host.

It was very spacious and modern with everything we could possibly need. The neighborhood was quiet, yet close to the old town. When we had a problem with the toilet, the owner was quick to respond and get it fixed. Having a washing machine for our laundry was a bonus.

Like all historic buildings, there were steep steps between the two floors but it was good that the bathroom was on the same floor as the bedroom.

the property had plenty of space for the two of us. It was a clean and comfortable space with everything you need at hand. it’s also close to the centre of Bruges, with only a short walk to get into the centre.

We were bitten quite a lot by mosquitos on the first night. Not really a fault with the property, but a warning or supplying some repellant might be a good idea for future guests.
