Semat Raya Village

I have never been better cared for than I was at Semat Raya Village. Adi was an exceptional host, and if I ever had a question, I knew I could always depend on him for an answer.

Absolutely nothing. Really.

My stay at SRV was just amazing! Adi is the best host you could wish for - he answers every question/wish very quickly and is just such a genuinely nice person. The location is great, many restaurants in the area and the beach is very close. I wanted to extend my stay and was super sad to hear that it was fully booked. I've slept at many hotels/guesthouses and this is definitely the one that made me feel most like home. Also you don't really get a room as big for that price class. I am so excited that I can come back in a month - it'll be like returning home. If you're unsure about booking your stay here, this is my recommendation to go for it!

There is a rooster crowing very early every morning, quite annoying but that's something no one can change. And I've had that issue at every place in Bali so far... Just bring earplugs and you'll be fine.

We stayed for almost 1 month at Semat Raya Village. During the weekdays we worked from there. In weekends we made trips. After coming back it felt like coming home. The athmosphere was very relaxed. There was a nice pool, a shared kitchen, a rooftop to work and relax. The rooms are quite big and has comfortable beds.

There is only one thing which can be better. After taking a shower the bathroom is flooded with water. It doesn't flow smootly. This can be solved by providing a good swiper in every room.

The kindness of the staff and the room extremely well cleaned !

the location, really friendly and nice staff, fridge in the room, high speed internet they also serve you fresh coconut on your arrival day ☺️

though they cleaned the room in every 3 days, i would have appreciated if they had changed the bedsheets and given me fresh towels too (i got fresh towels only once during my stay after explicitly asking for them)

The host and employees were always very friendly and smiling! They replied quickly when we needed help with something and we could arranged the scooter through them. We stayed there for 40 nights! We used the kitchen to make breakfast. But they could use some new pans ;)

Would be nice to have a couch or something in the room. I think some rooms had that as we have seen it on the pictures. We did have a desk tho!

Prime location in Canggu just off a busy main road but quite enough to get a good nights sleep. King room is huge and great for couples or long term stays. The place feels like a community, everyone staying here is so nice and there is a communal kitchen to use with a private fridge in your room. Best place in Canggu and Adi and all staff members are so nice!! If you don’t like cooking you can go eat at Eat Street on the corner for cheap! Can’t wait to come back soon!

Communal kitchen could be cleaner. People leave their food out and it smells due to humidity.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and bathroom quite big. Very nice swimming pool.
