On the last day of our stay at the hotel, we discovered that our car had been damaged by the second guests of our hotel. The car was parked on the hotel grounds, there were no other cars except ours and the second guests. Therefore, we know for sure who damaged our car. Of course, we immediately reported this to the owners of the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel did not help us contact the second guests to amicably resolve the conflict with the damaged car. We could not wait for the neighbors to return from the city to the hotel, because in a few hours we were flying out of the island. We were very upset that the neighbors damaged our car, but even more upset that the owner of the hotel did not help sort things out with the neighbors. I would like to point out that during the seven days of staying at the hotel, the room was not cleaned even once. Therefore, I do not recommend this hotel. This is a big disappointment.

The view from Slice of Ponta do Sol is undeniably beautiful

First, there were ants in the kitchen, which is unacceptable for any accommodation, especially at this price point. It made using the kitchen uncomfortable and unsanitary. Second, the check-out process was frustrating. The booking clearly stated that check-out was between 10-11 AM, but the night before, I received a message from the owner stating that check-out was at 10 AM. This last-minute change felt rushed and unprofessional. Adding to the confusion, I was accused of not paying the tourist tax, even though I transferred the payment the day before checking out. I later received a message from Booking.com saying the tax hadn't been paid, which made it clear there was some miscommunication or mismanagement on the owner's part. The address in booking .com is the wrong address you aren’t able to find the accommodation unless you search for the hotel in Google. Lastly, communication with the owner was poor throughout my stay, which added unnecessary stress to an already underwhelming visit. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless these issues are addressed.

Beautiful spacious and clean rooms equipped with everything needed for stay. Quiet location.

I didn't know swimming pool was for extra charge and quite expensive, it could have been advertised better.

It wasn't able to close the door into the toilet (the door frame was broken). Old furniture and not comfortable bed.

The area is very quite and peaceful. We enjoyed a stunning view. The aunt of the owner was super friendly and helpful.

When we arrived there was a strong bad smell in the house. Some of the kitchen utensils were a bit dirty, the water boiler not usable and sadly we found mold unter the kitchen sanitary.
