Pat and Jin went above and beyond any of my expectations. They not only met me with the key and gave me a tour of the apartment, they picked me up and drove me there. The morning I left, they came very early in the morning and drove me to the bus station. The apartment is very cozy and the bed is comfortable. It is located just in the outskirts of Carlow but the distance is very walkable and the bus system is good. It is located beside a hotel which has a very good restaurant if you didn’t want to cook or go far to eat and the grounds are green and peaceful, with a small walking loop. I would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

There was nothing about this experience to dislike.

The couple who checked us in were lovely. Homemade scones & breakfast supplies were provided.

The toilet and bathroom were on a different floor to the bedroom. The staircase between them was steep and winding stairs with limited head space. The bathroom sink did not have hot water. The kitchen sink appeared to have HW but we couldn't switch it on? The whole apartment is on a master switch connected to the front door. Every time my husband went out the entire apartment is disconnected from the electricity.We did not really feel comfortable during our stay.

It was amazing.

The hosts were extremely helpful and kind, the lodge was very comfortable with lots of natural light and little touches like cosy blankets and homemade scones on arrival.

The Internet was a little shakey, sometimes worked absolutely fine, and sometimes would slow down a fair bit. Could have done with some more towels (we had one set each)

Great to have milk & other breakfast essentials left for us. The homemade scones were delicious. Everything we needed was provided- even washing pods for the washing machine. There’s a handy CW1 bus from Tyndall College (15 mins walk away) every 30 minutes. It runs 7 days a week til around midnight. We attended the PanCeltic Festival every day and much preferred this accommodation to the one we rented last festival time (Easter ‘23).

There was a kitchen, bread, eggs, scones, drinks and some chocolate so could make breakfast and have a snack which was appreciated. I hadn't thought of getting groceries and it was handy.

No issues with the accommodation.
